IBKA is a Toronto-based photography studio that caters to fashion, beauty and lifestyle brands. Founder, Ibukun realized she needed to craft her visual identity to keep up with her growing reputation and appeal to higher-end clientele.
If IBKA’s brand values were to be summed up in one word, it would be “balance”.
IBKA dreams of a balanced world where entrepreneurs and creators; particularly women of colour, have access to equal opportunity. IBKA lives out this dream by photographing each client with great care and intent, so they can show up more confidently in the world.
The visual direction was inspired by the concept of balance. The concept is visualized through the symmetrical "I" icon, the geometric sans serif wordmark, and the repeat pattern.
